Our Story.…
At a small bar in Milledgeville Georgia, Matt and Morgan started their love story. From Pi Kappa Phi house parties, Tuesday karaoke nights at Buffington’s, Wing Wednesdays at the Brick, meeting and kissing in between classes, SGA office meetings and a lot of memories, Matt and Morgan fell in love. After two years of dating in college, Matt moved to Washington DC to pursue his dreams in politics. A semester later, Morgan moved to San Francisco to pursue her dreams in sustainability and sales. After being long distance across the country, late FaceTime dates, countless Delta SkyMiles and flights later, Matt moved to San Francisco to change career paths and to be with Morgan. Here they moved into their first apartment together in North Beach, San Francisco. With no furniture and no kitchen utensils, Matt and Morgan celebrated with a bottle of champagne and cake on the kitchen floor. After two beautiful years in San Francisco, many trips to Napa, many visitors, meeting amazing friends and making special memories, it was time to move. In 2021, Matt and Morgan moved to New York City to start the next chapter of their life. Celebrating their first night in their new New York apartment in the Upper East Side, they had no furniture and no kitchen utensils, so they had pizza and champagne on the kitchen floor. After two years living and exploring in New York they have made amazing friends, ate amazing food, had many visitors, made many trips to LaGuardia and JFK airport, traveled to Europe four times and fell even more in love. Morgan and Matt now have furniture and kitchen utensils. One night in October 2022, Matt got on one knee on the kitchen floor where he and Morgan would have a bottle of champagne to celebrate their engagement.
